Kai Vöckler is an artist, publisher and exhibition curator, who is specialised in urban issues. Since 1995 he holds symposia and lectures on the theory of aesthetics at the foundation Bauhaus/Dessau; 2000-2001 he taught art at the Bauhaus college. He is copublisher and author of numerous publications and editorial consultant of the architecture magazine Archis, Amsterdam. Since 1999 he curates international exhibitions, such as „Peking, Shanghai, Shenzhen – Cities of the 21st century“ (foundation Bauhaus Dessau, summer 2000) and „Space and Time in Megalopolis“ (municipal gallery Prague, spring 2001). He had several solo and group exhibitions in Europe, the most recent being the Tirana Biennale, Albania (September 2001). He develops artistitic concepts and participates in competitions in collaboration with architects and landscape architects since 1997. He is an expert for competitions concerning landscape architecture and artistic competitions (BUGA Potsdam 2001). He lives in Berlin.

Kai Vöckler ist Künstler, Publizist und Ausstellungskurator; spezialisiert auf urbanistische Themen. Seit 1995 Durchführung von Symposien und Vorträge zur ästhetischen Theorie an der Stiftung Bauhaus Dessau; 2000/2001 künstlerische Lehre am Bauhaus Kolleg. Herausgeber und Autor zahlreicher Publikationen; Editorial Consultant des Architekturmagazins Archis, Amsterdam. Seit 1999 Kurator internationaler Ausstellungen, beispielsweise „Peking, Shanghai, Shenzhen – Städte des 21. Jahrhunderts“ (Stiftung Bauhaus Dessau, Sommer 2000) und „Space and Time in Megalopolis“ (Städtische Galerie Prag, Frühjahr 2001). Zahlreiche eigene Ausstellungen sowie Ausstellungsbeteiligungen in Europa, zuletzt an der Tirana Biennale, Albanien (September 2001). Entwicklung von Kunstkonzepten und Beteiligung an Wettbewerben in Zusammenarbeit mit Architekten und Landschaftsarchitekten seit 1997. Sachverständiger in landschaftsarchitektonischen und künstlerischen Wettbewerben (BUGA Potsdam 2001). Lebt in Berlin.
