Heath Bunting emerged from the 80`s committed to building open / democratic communication systems and social contexts. He came from the streets up, passing through and often revisiting graffiti, performance, intervention, pirate radio, fax/mailart and BBS systems to become an active participant in the explosion of the internet.

Heath Bunting beschäftigt sich seit den 80´ mit dem Aufbau offener demokratischer Kommuniskationsysteme und sozialer Kontexte. Er kam von der Straße zur Graffitiszene, zu der er immer wieder zurückkehrt, machte Performances, Interventionen, Piratenradio, Fax und Mailart und war bei BBS-System ein aktives Mitglied während des Internetbooms.

This summer Heath Bunting embarked on a project to cross all 28 borders within Europe. "The BorderXing guide intends to explore and document the feasibility and methods of crossing borders within Europe without papers." Bunting regards human movement as restricted whereas information and money are mobilised. With his project he intends to do a reversal of this whereby humans are encouraged to move and the immaterial is restricted.

Social meaning non privatised spaces.

Diesen Sommer startete Heath Bunding ein Projekt, bei dem er alle 28 Grenzen in Europa überqueren wollte. Das "Borderxing" Projekt untersucht und dokumentiert Möglichkeiten und Methoden, die Grenzen in und um Europa ohne Pass zu überschreiten.

Zum Schutz der Machteliten ist die menschliche Bewegungsfreiheit beschränkt, während Geld und Informationen frei fließen dürfen. Mit diesem Projekt schlägt Bunting eine Umkehrung der Verhältnisse vor und fordert die uneingeschränkte Bewegungsfreiheit des Menschen .

Aus diesem Grund, wird das Projekt nur von bestimmten statischen, sozialen Räumen aus zu sehen sein. Statisch meint dabei reale Orte und statische Netzwerke (heißt statische IP-Adressen) Sozial bedeutet öffentlich zugängliche Räume.
